A Google Group is a group of different people on Google. They can share texts or documents. This can be good for teacher teaching in the same school or grade. It is also a great way for a group to work on something together, but be at different computers at different times. For example, in my class I had a group and we all had to write 500 words on a story. We used Google Groups so that everyone could work on it together.
Here is an example: Suzie's Teaching Experience
A Google Presentation can be made through a Google account by clicking on Google Docs. It is free (yay!) It is a way to make a creative slideshow presentation. I think this comes in handy because anyone can access it through the internet and they do not have to purchase expensive software. This is great because most families have internet or at least access to it. Creating a Google Presentation is a great way to help students interactively learn about new subjects. The students themselves can easily make a Google presentation, but it is mostly a great and easy way for teachers to quickly make models to teach the students with. They are extremely useful for both students and teachers. Presentations can help with the NETS-T standard: design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity. I think this because a Google Presentation presents information and pictures in an organized, bright, interesting way. I got to experience making a Google Presentation the other day. Here is an example of one I made for my IT class:

They can be made for any age group or event to present something at a business or other job.
