Classroom Website

A classroom website is a great way for parents and students to keep up with what is going on in their classrooms. They can contain basically anything from homework assignments, to contact information, to pictures of the classroom. They are  fairly simple and free to make with Google Sites with a Google account. in my opinion, I think that creating a class website is even better than creating a classroom blog, because it looks and seems more sophisticated to everyone. Taking the time out to create a classroom website shows that the teacher really cares. Creating a class website is a good way to cover the NETS-T standard, collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support student success and innovation because a classroom website provides easy access to classroom information to everyone. This could be helpful to someone whos parent was away or deployed too! They are quite simple to make. They are a little time consuming depending on how detailed the teacher wants to make them, but nonetheless, they are worth it in the end.
Here is an example of the classroom web page I made:

I highly enjoyed making it!
